Water rescue crews recovered a body from the Ohio River in Warrick County Thursday.
Sheriff Mike Wilder said the body was found near the Mulzer Crushed Stone area.
Crews were called after Henderson County dispatch received a report of a body in the river between Angel Mounds and Newburgh.
Evansville firefighters recovered the body.
Officials have not identified the person.
They say it is not the person authorities in Posey County have been searching for this week.
