The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office says an Olney, Illinois man entered into a plea agreement Thursday in Dubois Superior Court calling for him to plead guilty to a felony charge of Auto Theft.
If the agreement is accepted by the court, 40-year-old Justin Ashworth will be sentenced to four years at the Indiana Department of Correction.
The charge stems from an incident in June of 2026 in which police were dispatched to a Flock license plate camera alert for a stolen vehicle entering Huntingburg on US 231.
A plea acceptance/sentencing hearing is set for September 22nd.
