The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says multiple police agencies were involved in a pursuit Sunday involving a man wanted in Illinois on aggravated battery and theft charges.
Deputies, who had been on the lookout for Ethan Glidewell of Greenup, Illinois, spotted him driving on US 41.
Glidewell led police on a chase through the City of Sullivan, Graysville, Fairbanks, and Prairie Creek in Vigo County before continuing into rural Vigo County and eventually returning to Sullivan County.
After striking multiple tire deflation devices, Glidewell finally stopped in Hutsonville, Illinois, where he surrendered without further incident.
Glidewell is expected to face charges in multiple jurisdictions and will await extradition proceedings related to charges in Indiana.
