The Indiana Attorney General’s Office says a federal judge has entered final judgment for the State of Indiana, ending the ACLU’s more than three-year challenge to the state’s law banning gender-transition procedures for minors.
In 2023, the General Assembly passed Senate Enrolled Act 480.
The law prohibits physicians and other practitioners from providing gender-transition procedures to anyone under 18, including surgeries, cross-sex hormones, and puberty blockers.
