Daviess County’s unemployment rate in August was 3%, the same as July and two-tenths of a percent lower than the same time last year.
Martin County’s jobless rate in August stood at 2.9%, two-tenths of a percent lower than August of 2025.
Dubois County’s rate was 3.1%, the same as a year before.
Sullivan County unemployment rate of 3.2% in August was four tenths of a percent lower than the same time a year ago.
Gibson County’s jobless rate was 3.1%, a tenth of a percent lower than the year before.
Pike County’s August unemployment rate was 3.5%, three tenths of a percent lower than the same time last year.
Knox County’s 3.5% unemployment rate for August was three tenths of a percent lower than August of 2025.
Greene County had an unemployment rate of 3.5% last month, three tenths of a percent lower than the year before.
The average unemployment rate of Indiana’s 92 counties in August was 3.6%.
