The City of Vincennes and Republic Services will hold the first of two large item collection days on Saturday.
Vincennes residents can dispose of large, unwanted items free of charge from 8:00 to 11:30 AM at Republic Services on North Second Street.
Items that can be dropped off include household furniture, mattresses, large toys, carpeting tied in three-foot bundles, and appliances not containing chlorofluorocarbons and hydrofluorocarbons.
A photo ID will be required to prove you are a Vincennes resident.
The second large item collection day will be held from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 10th.
