Vincennes University has announced the launch of Workforce U, a rebranding of its Business and Industry division that provides customized workforce training for major employers including Amazon, Walmart, Toyota, Subaru, and Cummins.
The initiative is intended to expand the university’s workforce-development presence statewide and nationally.
Meanwhile the Board of Trustees approved approximately $17.5 million in construction bids to renovate Godare Hall on the Vincennes campus.
The building will be converted into a modern, all-private-room facility designed to support workforce training programs, adult learners, and employer partnerships.
