Drivers in Pike County will need to take a detour next week.
INDOT will close State Road 257 near Otwell — between County Road 50 North and County Road 200 South — starting Wednesday, October 21st.
The closure is for two culvert replacement projects and is expected to last about a week, weather permitting.
It won’t start until the nearby State Road 56 project has reopened.
The official detour is State Road 56 to U-S 231 to State Road 64.
Local traffic will still have access up to the point of closure.
