A stretch of State Road 246 in southern Vigo County will close for up to two weeks beginning next week for a culvert replacement project.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says that starting on or after Monday, October 26th, INDOT maintenance crews will close State Road 246 between State Road 63 and U.S. 41.
Access to local homes will be maintained while work is underway.
INDOT said the project is expected to take up to two weeks, though the timeline depends on the weather and could change.
The official detour will be U.S. 41 to State Road 48 to State Road 63.
