Flu season is getting an early start in the U.S. The CDC says it’s been climbing since early September with a three-point-six-percent nationwide positivity rate for influenza.
Health experts say we don’t normally see rates like that until November or December.
With that in mind, the Good Samaritan Physician Network will offer a drive-through flu vaccine clinic this Saturday for adults aged 19 and older in the parking lot next to the Medical Center of Vincennes at 406 North First Street in Vincennes.
The clinic will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Patients will need to bring their ID and insurance cards.
Meanwhile, drive-through flu vaccine clinics will take place at the same location on Monday, October 26th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, October 28th, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
