The mother of eight-year-old Alyssa and five-year-old Caleb Lynch is pleading with Indiana’s parole board to carry out the execution of Jeffrey Weisheit for their deaths.
Lisa Lynch had left the children in his care at their home near Evansville while she was working an overnight shift in 2010 when Weisheit set the house on fire.
Weisheit was convicted and sentenced to death in 2013.
Weisheit is pleading with the state for mercy and to be allowed to keep living.
He is scheduled to be put to death on November 5th before sunrise.
