One person is dead and another hurt after a multi-vehicle crash on Monday night in Gibson County.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. on US 41 at County Road 1250 South.
Investigators say a car heading east on County Road 1250 South pulled into the path of a pick-up truck heading north on US 41.
The truck hit the cara broadside, sending it across a ditch and into the Pilot Truck Stop parking lot, where it struck a parked Amazon van.
Responders performed CPR on a critically injured driver, but that driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second driver was taken to an Evansville-area hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Names have not been released.
