Knox County Commissioner Kellie Streeter has resigned, effective 11:59 Tuesday night, after being elected State Representative for District 45.

Local Republicans will hold a caucus Tuesday, November 24th, at 6 p.m. at the Knox County Courthouse to choose someone to finish her term.

Candidates must be Republicans who live in Washington, Vigo, Busseron or Widner Township.

They must submit a CEB-5 form to County Chairman David Shelton at least 72 hours before the caucus.

Matt Hoffman, who ran unopposed, takes over the commissioner seat January 1st.
